The annual Norton Street Italian Festa will be held on Sunday 30 October from 10am to 5pm. With more than 150,000 people expected, road closures and special event clearways will be in place on Norton St for the event.

The following roads will be closed to vehicle traffic from 3am to 8pm on Sunday 27 October:

• Norton Street between Marion Street and William Street
• Marlborough Street between Norton Street and Cromwell Street
• Carlisle Street between Norton Street and Cromwell Street
• Macauley Street * between Norton Street and Cromwell Street (eastbound lanes only)
• Allen Street between Derbyshire Road and James Street
• Short Street between Norton Street and Balmain Road
• Arthur Street between Allen Street and Short Street
• Wetherill Street * between Norton Street and Balmain Road (eastbound lanes only)

* Access will be maintained for local residents via Cromwell St and Balmain Rd.

Special event clearway parking restrictions will be in effect:

• From 3am to 8pm on Norton Street between Marion Street and William Street

Clearways are strict no-parking zones and apply even to local residents with parking permits and RMS Mobility Scheme Permit holders.

Check signs carefully when parking as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle has been towed it will be moved to the nearest legal parking space. Call 132 701 to find its new location.
